Artist's Statement

In the west it is water and weather that spark my senses; in the east it’s the sky of glass and stone and diverse humanity moving in every direction. I’m open to many means of self-expression. While my vision may determine the choice of process and materials, it is always color, texture and a good line that I seek to illuminate the work.
